This session demonstrates how sustainable agribusiness institutions can transform energy investments into productive economic outcomes through enterprise development, skills, technology adoption, innovation and market integration. It features the institutional development journey of the International Agribusiness Practitioners Association (IAPA) — a network of Master Trainers evolving into an emerging Pan-African professional institution. Hosted by ACBF (ABF/GIZ).

Moderated by Mr. Edem Messa-Gavo (ACBF), with a kick-off by Mr. Boureima Ouedraogo (IAPA), and speakers Mr. Nchendeh Valentine (IAPA), Dr. Bernard Agbo (ABF/GIZ), Dr. P. Padolo Moye (LIMPAC) and an IAPA member from Benin.

Objective: show how agribusiness institutions build the capacities, partnerships and market systems needed to convert energy access into productive investment and inclusive transformation. Expected outcomes: shared understanding that energy-enabled agribusiness depends on strong institutions and professional capacity; IAPA recognized as a replicable model; a roadmap and collaborative models identified to help agribusiness actors convert energy access into productive investment.
