Closing Action Dialogue — The Cotonou Action Agenda on Energy and Transformation

The presentation and formal adoption of the Summit Communiqué — 'the Cotonou Action Agenda' — with the announcement of follow-up milestones and the presentation of the youth innovation award. The session formally adopts a core set of measurable indicators developed during the Summit to track progress on implementing the Agenda.

Moderated by Mrs. Blandine Biaou Oyede (SNH-Benin); the Communiqué is presented by Mr. Cheigun Morayo Habib Tidjani (Secretary General, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Benin); the youth award is presented by Mr. Luc Gnacadja (Mayor of Cotonou).

Objective: convert three days of learning, dialogue, research, and negotiation into a publicly accountable set of commitments, designed as a formal adoption ceremony so each commitment carries political weight from the moment it is endorsed. Expected outcomes: the Cotonou Action Agenda formally adopted by delegates; the youth innovation award winner profiled across ATTP and partner channels; post-summit review checkpoints confirmed at 3, 6, and 12 months.
