Session Overview

Late afternoon on Day 2 is given to a curated showcase of new research from African think tanks and academic institutions. Prof. Khadija El Mansouri and Dr. Hamady Ndiaye co-curate the showcase, with Dr. Sadiq Abubakar moderating a parallel peer-review surgery for early-career researchers.

The format combines poster presentations along the corridor walls (read-as-you-walk) with three lightning-talk blocks of fifteen minutes each, hosted at the central stage. Topics include applied work on AfCFTA implementation, energy-access measurement, and policy-evaluation methodology.

The showcase deliberately favours work in progress over polished publications. Delegates are encouraged to engage authors directly and to flag opportunities for peer review, collaboration, and publication in the ACBF and AAPRI working-paper series.
